About Rotorua Lakefront Playground
The playground was developed as part of the Rotorua Lakefront Redevelopment, a project that transformed an underutilised waterfront area into a connected public space with cultural, recreational and tourism benefits. Local tamariki contributed ideas through workshops, leading to features such as flying foxes and group swings being included in the design.
